0-25 Probably not a good idea...Just keep teaching in informal situations, and be thankful you have learned a little more about yourself, your place in this world...
26-34 Tough call.  How bad do you want this? Ask questions of the alt cert panel. If you are not strongly motivated to fight now for the career change, maybe you could work on your weaker score-areas, and re-evaluate in a few years...
35-40 Go for it!
