1. Who am I?
Making a career change is a big decision, which, obviously, should not be
made lightly. One very important starting point is knowing
yourself.
What is your personality? What are your skill sets? Where is your
heart?
Search the net to find a place to take the Keirsey Personality Sorter
test, the Myers Briggs, or similar personality and temperament test. Putting
"Myers Briggs" or "Keirsey" into a good search engine
should help get you there.
Once you have found out your temperament type and personality, check to
see if it is one that seems well suited to the teaching profession.

You should also think about your performance and your attitude in the
teaching situations you have been in, such as Sunday School, sports
coaching, and work training.
Considering your personality and your teaching-related experience, score
yourself between 1 (lowest, worst) and 10 (highest, best).
